In yet another example of trans violence, Collin Baily - a man who claims to be a woman known as "Mia,” is the prime suspect in the murder of two individuals.

This heinous act was committed in Utah on June 18, when police responded to call of a reported shooting at a residence.

KUTV is reporting that Mia Bailey, has now admitted to shooting her parents to death in their Washington City home.

There is an underlying dispute about the use of gendered language when alerting the community and reporting the story.

The St. George News referred to Bailey as a "she".

The St. George Police Department came under some criticism on social media for their use of preferred pronouns when describing the suspect to the community during the search for the suspect.

"St George PD you should be ashamed of yourselves. Focusing on 'preferred pronouns' when giving the description of a murder suspect at large. At the very least define if its a male who 'identifies' as a woman or a woman who 'identifies' as a man. You are losing your credibility and misinformation like this is how innocent people get hurt," One social media user commented on Instagram.

"Wait. Is it a man or woman? Or one of those hybrid humans?" Another questioned.

Eventually, Bailey surrendered and was taken into custody.

KUTV (which refers to Bailey as "her") reports:

Police said Bailey admitted to entering her mother and father's house and shooting them in an attempt to kill them before going downstairs, where her brother and his wife locked themselves in his bedroom. Bailey told police she shot through the locked door, stating she did not care if the shot had killed him.

The report also adds,

Mia further stated that she did not have remorse for her actions and that she would not change what she had done. Mia stated 'I would do it again. I hate them,'" documents said.

Documents said Bailey is being charged for seven counts of felony discharge of a firearm, three counts of aggravated murder, and one account of aggravated burglary.

It's hard to alert the community or do accurate reporting when facts are imprisoned in order to protect the feelings of an alleged admitted murderer.
