Barbara Streisand says she’s thinking about moving to Canada because living in an America under Donald Trump is making her eat too many pancakes.

“I’ve been thinking about, do I want to move to Canada? I don’t know,” she told the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman. “I’m just so saddened by this thing happening to our country. It’s making me fat. I hear what [President Trump] said now, and I have to go eat pancakes now, and pancakes are very fattening."

Streisand – who’s becoming even more or less of a Funny Girl by the day, depending on how you look at it – is promoting her latest album “Walls,” in which she vents her frustration at Trump. The album even includes a song in which Streisand appears to lament that Trump doesn’t tell the truth and makes her cry.

And no, I couldn’t make this up if I tried.

Unfortunately, Streisand is highly unlikely to make good on her threat to move up north anytime soon. After all, it’s been two years since Trump was elected President of the United States, and we’re still stuck with Lena Dunham and Rosie O’Donnell.
