Former President-turned-private citizen Barack Obama is doing what any old average joe would do on a Wednesday -- promoting Obamacare of course!

That’s right. In a tweet Monday morning, Obama urged Americans to “head on over” to the Affordable Care Act’s website to find a plan that met their needs.

He also included a video advertisement in the tweet, claiming that eight out of 10 Americans can get health insurance plans for under $75 a month.

While these numbers might make even the stingiest miser blush, what Obama doesn’t acknowledge in the video are the very real struggles facing middle class America.

A CNN Money article reported that although lower income groups receive subsidised care, giving them the most benefit through Obamacare care, middle income individuals and families suffer through higher premiums and deductible costs, with States, such as Florida and Georgia, seeing a spike in premiums of 45 percent and 57 percent, respectively.

Even the left-leaning new site, Huffington Post, admitted that Obamacare is expensive unless you’re eligible for the subsidies, and that confidence in the program is shaky at best. Well, I can see why, especially with Obamacare premiums set to rise at an average of 34 percent by next year.
