A now-former spokesperson for Arizona Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs is in some hot water Wednesday after appearing to threaten to shoot “transphobes,” less than 12 hours after a transgender terrorist shot and killed three 9-year-olds and three adults at a Nashville Christian elementary school.

Josselyn Berry, who goes by the username "joss_berry" on Twitter, locked down her account as private following a wave of backlash after she originally tweeted a meme of a woman brandishing two handguns, along with the caption, “Us when we see transphobes.” Twitter deleted the post as violating their rules against inciting violence, but here’s a screenshot:

Berry, who had previously worked as a spokesperson for the Arizona Democrat Party before joining Hobbs' administration in November, tweeted the tacit threat in response to another user who'd written, "Not sure these transphobic-from-the-left posers know who they’re messing with." The exchange came mere hours after a 28-year-old woman who identified as a man shot up the Covington School in Nashville, killing six people including three innocent kids. The left has spent the 48 hours since defending the trans community, blaming Tennessee’s “anti-trans” laws against castrating children for the shooting, and trying to justify homicidal anger among supposedly oppressed gender-confused people.

Local reports state Berry resigned Wednesday, which has been confirmed by the governor's office. Hobbs' office also issued a statement claiming that "The governor does not condone violence in any form."

"This administration holds mutual respect at the forefront of how we engage with one another. The post by the press secretary is not reflective of the values of the administration," the statement continued.
