Arizona Sheriff Says Agents Have Retreated from Parts of Border Because It’s ‘Too Dangerous’

Terry Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief of CNSNews.com, interviewed Arizona Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County, AZ about the situation going on along the border. During the interview, Dever said that agents have retreated from parts of the border because it's "too dangerous." His county is one of four in Arizona that shares a border with Mexico. In the past couple of months, many sheriffs and police officers have said they are underfunded and do not have the manpower, nor resources, to combat various threats coming from Mexican drug cartels-- such as killing off-duty police officers using snipers and issuing "green lights" to have sheriffs killed.

A news report released today also shows that after four years passing without a single suicide among border patrol agents, they are now killing themselves in greater numbers.
