Come on! This can’t be real. How do you make it through almost 30 years of life and you’ve never even heard of a garbage disposal? And before anyone says anything to me about some kind of “privilege,” let me stop you by responding with a resounding “shut up.” I don’t speak your social justice BS language.
Apparently, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went onto her Instagram account and went on an almost 30-second “Valley Girl” rant about her supposed first encounter with a garbage disposal.
I can’t, folks. I just can’t.

Seriously? That is supposedly a member of Congress in 2019.
Let me put it this way. I was a bartender myself, for a lot longer than Ocasio-Cortez could ever dream of, and the fact that she had never heard of a garbage disposal — while working in a place that most likely served food as well as drinks — sounds like someone desperately trying to relate to the three other people in the U.S. who’ve never heard of one either.
