Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was not in the U.S. Capitol the day a group of Trump supporters stormed the building to protest what they believe was a fraudulent 2020 presidential election, repeated her previous claim that she was afraid of “being raped again” by Trump supporters during the conflict.

Tweeting during Thursday night’s statements by bloviating congressmen revealing their findings from the 11-month, tax-funded investigation into the January 6 melee, AOC said she spent harrowing hours locked in her bathroom for “fear of being raped again” by the MAGA crowd.

“Look at this footage. @laurenboebert was tweeting the Speaker’s location as this was all happening,” AOC posted. “When I spoke of my fear of being raped again while locked in my office bathroom, @TuckerCarlson mocked it. So did Boebert. @NancyMace insinuated to her supporters it was a lie.”

“Good Lord. The way it all comes rushing back into the body. It’s like it’s that day all over again,” she added, as the House panel played footage of the January 6 “insurrection” they claim nearly toppled the entire nation.

The New York congresswoman, who has claimed to be a survivor of sexual assault but has provided no details or proof of her story, has an odd history of suggesting her critics are sexually attracted to her, once accusing former Trump campaign advisor and ex-Newsmax host Steven Cortes of wanting to date her.

“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general,” she tweeted last December. “These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”

Not sure why this needs to be said, AOC - but not everything is about people wanting to get in your pants.
