Donald Trump is a Zionist and his favorite child, Ivanka, married a Jewish man (Jared Kusher) and converted to Judaism herself.

Quite the resume for an antisemite.

Trump posted the following on Truth Social:

The Washington Post called this an “attack” and “diatribe.” In two separate pieces by two different authors, they used both these terms

The White House Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed, “Donald Trump’s comments were antisemitic, as you all know, and insulting both to Jews and to our Israeli allies.”

Anti-Defamation League chief executive and national director Jonathan Greenblatt was triggered and stated, “We don’t need the former president, who curries favor with extremists and antisemites, to lecture us about the US-Israel relationship … This ‘Jewsplaining’ is insulting and disgusting.”

Of course, Trump is not an antisemite. But taken along with Ye’s recent antisemitism, it can certainly seem like Trump is piling on. And saying a minority group needs “to get their act together” is crude.

But the message itself is kosher and one that many Jews would echo. It is a Zionist stance, not an antisemitic one.

After the Holocaust, it was important to establish a Jewish state so history would not repeat itself. Many American Jews take that for granted, which is what Trump was pointing out. It is philosemitic, not antisemitic. It is tough love, not hate.

This is a classic example of Trump Derangement Syndrome and words versus actions. Maybe Trump was insensitive with his phrasing and timing, but it is accurate that no president has done more for Israel and that he is indeed incredibly appreciated there. Trump is the worst antisemite ever.
