You can’t make this up.

Green Bay Police were responding to an unlawful assembly on Washington Street in the city. According to Police Chief Andrew Smith, protesters ‘had blocked traffic on the street, had engaged in throwing a bottle at somebody, were pulling up manhole covers off the street and were blocking traffic.’

One of the 15 arrested protesters was 23-year-old Matthew Banta. Banta, known as “Commander Red”, is known to be a violent ANTIFA member that incites violence at peaceful protests.

WBAY reports that a responding officer saw Banta and three others walking towards the protests armed with baseball bats, helmets, goggles, an ANTIFA flag, and even a flamethrower.

Yes, a flamethrower.

The responding officer caught up to the group who all ran away. However, the officer was able to catch up to Banta who fell into the fetal position and started to cry.

I don’t know what you think, but to me, that sounds like a small child throwing a fit because they were caught sneaking a cookie before dinner.

While I’m not a parent myself and am not necessarily in the position to criticize certain parenting styles, maybe a little more discipline wouldn’t have hurt.

“Commander Red” has been charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping, and has been assigned a $2,500 cash bond.
