Anti-Gorsuch Protestor Says Toddler Son Needs Abortion Access

The Campaign Director for the Center for American Progress Action Fund says, she’s not sure her young son will need access to a legal abortion, but is sure a Supreme Court with nominee Neil Gorsuch sitting on it, won’t protect him if he does.

Emily Sussman of the Center for American Progress brought her young son up to the podium with her at the anti-Gorsuch rally in D.C. on Saturday.

“This is his first rally. Yeah, give him his welcome. But I don't want you guys to think he's been slacking in his seven and a half months of life. He phone banked. He knocked doors,” Sussman said.

“Don’t think he's been sitting around on his white male privilege. He gets to work. He gets to work. Yes!”

Sussman used her son in her argument against Gorsuch.

“I don’t know what kind of protections he going to need. I don't know if he is going to need access to a safe and legal abortion. And this court with Gorsuch on it will not protect him. I don't know if he's going to need access to bathrooms,” she said.

“This court will not protect him. I don't know if he’s going to need IDEA protections in education. I don't know if he’s going to be able to access the marriage - to be able to marry who he loves. This court with Gorsuch on it will not protect him. We need to stop it.”

This woman actually said she doesn’t know if her son is going to need access to a bathroom. Really? I’m willing to bet he will.

If these are the arguments the left has against Gorsuch sitting on the Supreme Court, the confirmation vote should be pretty easy.
