In his efforts to push the $2.25 trillion dollar so-called “American Jobs Act” Joe Biden and his administration are deliberately pushing another big lie.
"Independent analysis shows that if we pass this plan the economy will create 19 million jobs," Biden said in remarks at the White House last week. "Good jobs, blue-collar jobs, jobs that pay well."
Biden and his team has frequently claimed the 19 million jobs number comes from a Moody's Analytics estimate of his plan (watch the video above).
But Moody’s research shows that 16.3 million jobs would be created over the same 10-year period if the government did nothing and didn’t spend the money.
So it is $2.25 trillion for about 2.7 million jobs actually added under the measure, according to Moody's.
Nice try, Joe.
