Actress Anne Hathaway, perhaps best known for her starring roles in a slew of blockbuster films such as The Princess Diaries, Les Misérables and The Devil Wears Prada, is now weighing in on another topic outside of the silver screen: abortion.

Most notably, by insulting “white women” who are pro-life by suggesting they - or at least, their actions - are racist.

"Yes the anti-abortion movement is primarily about controlling women’s bodies under the premise (for many, sincere) of saving lives, and yes this law is primarily the work of white men HOWEVER a white woman sponsored the bill and a white woman signed it into law," Hathway wrote in an Instagram post. "As we’re resisting, let us also call out the complicity of the white women who made this awful moment possible, and which – make no mistake – WILL lead to the unnecessary and avoidable deaths of women, a disproportionate number of whom will be poor and/or black."

Hathway then urged her 14.3 million followers to donate to a list of abortion providers and advocates, including Planned Parenthood and organizations that fund-raise to help women procure abortions.

Like many of her pro-abortion counterparts, Hathaway of course ignores the millions of pro-life women (white, black and otherwise) who aren’t merely “complicit," but are instead on the front lines of a growing movement to protect unborn children in the womb - including little girls.

Likewise, in her racially-based tirade, Hathaway also ignores the very simple fact that a vastly disproportionate number abortion victims are black children, and that the nation’s single largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, was actually founded by a racist who believed abortion was the way to cull the black population and keep it from growing.
