The left is so gutless they don’t even have the stones to meet with mothers whose family members had been murdered by illegal immigrants. Day by day, the left further proves why national security should be a focus of the American government.
On Tuesday, Angel Moms protested at the offices of both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) in order to plead their case for building a wall along the Southern border of the U.S.
Pelosi reportedly “refused to meet” with the Angel Moms, as she stands firm in her stance that a border wall isn’t needed for national security.

As for Schumer, he was also nowhere to be seen. Nonetheless, the Angel Moms protested outside his office as well.
“We are here because as mothers and women, we protect our families and we know what needs to be done to protect our family and our children and our loves ones,” Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza said, according to LifeZette. “And the politicians who are here in D.C. are not doing the job.”
Amen! Politicians merely serve their own interests. Judging by the lack of compassion towards the Angel Moms, conveyed by Pelosi and Schumer’s absence, they’re continuing to lead by either ignorance or flat-out lack of care. They didn't need to necessarily capitulate immediately to building a wall, but it would've been nice had they had the guts to at least talk with the mothers.
As Breitbart reported, radio host Rose Tennent put the hypocrisy of Pelosi perfectly.
“What’s interesting is, literally, there’s a wall between you and Nancy,” Tennent said to the Angel Moms.
And that just goes to show that people like Pelosi and Schumer don’t really have an aversion to walls. They’re merely partial to the ones that benefit them.
