The American Medical Association is now calling on social media companies to censor, and the Biden administration to actively "investigate and prosecute," anyone who shares information criticizing the performing of permanent, physically mutilating gender procedures on underage children.

Because if the left can’t refute an argument, they simply try to silence it.

In an open letter sent October 3 to Attorney General Merrick Garland, the AMA claimed that “Providers of evidence-based gender-affirming health care and their colleagues are facing increased stress and fear” thanks to “misinformation” being spread online about hospitals and physicians who provide certain procedures – including puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and even non-medically indicated hysterectomies, mastectomies, and castrations – to “trans” children and teens.

“These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families,” the AMA wrote. “The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions.”

“Whether it’s newborns receiving intensive care, children getting cancer treatments or families accessing compassionate care for their transgender adolescents, all patients seeking treatment deserve to get the care they need without fear for their personal safety,” added AAP President Moira Szilagyi on the AMA’s online message accompanying the letter.

The group also demanded that Twitter, TikTok, and Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, begin censoring those who exposes medical facilities for performing “gender-affirming” procedures on kids.

It seems they don’t want people to know that, for example, an employee with Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., one of the nation’s foremost medical facilities for treating kids with serious medical conditions, admitted on tape the hospital has performed medically unnecessary hysterectomies on biological girls younger than 16.

Or the fact that Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Maine has what it calls a "Gender Clinic" that offers various gender transition services to "trans" children seeking "gender-affirming care," including puberty blockers, advice on chest-binding, and instructions on “tucking” for little boys.

Or the fact that the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, an organization used by many children’s hospitals to craft their medical policies, recommends “transgender reassignment surgery” – including non-medically necessary mastectomies, hysterectomies, and castrations – for underage children as young as 15.

But rather than protect young children from being unalterably mutilated, sterilized, and traumatized before they’re old enough to buy a cigarette, the AMA has instead declared its desire to protect the doctors who do it.

“Our organizations have called on technology companies to do more to prevent this practice on digital platforms, and we now urge your office to take swift action to investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities responsible,” the AMA demanded on Garland’s DOJ.

Translation: “Use the taxpayer-funded government gun to shut up anyone speaks out against mutilating children.”

At least we know where they stand. Thankfully, we also know where we stand: between children, and those who would exploit them for political and ideological gain.

And we won't shut up.
