Teachers Unions — what are they good for? Absolutely nothing…well, besides aiding in the transformation of public schools into Marxist indoctrination centers over the last few decades.
Case in point is anti-American President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Union President Randi Weingarten, who is a lesbian. I only bring that up, because if you even if you didn’t know or don’t care, she’ll be the first to tell you about her lesbian rabbi wife. No one asked or cared, but she tells everyone anyway. But during AFT’s Tuesday press conference, Weingarten decided to take aim (pun intended) at gun ownership and the Second Amendment in response to Monday’s school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
“How many lives will be shattered before we have the courage to do what Scotland did, what Australia did, what New Zealand did, what other great democracies do?” Weingarten self-righteously posited. “We must solve this epidemic, and that’s up to us.”

Why do I get the feeling that when she says “that’s up to us,” she doesn’t mean you or I, but just her minions that are part of the union that she tells how to think and live?
For context, Weingarten mentioned Scotland, Australia and New Zealand, because all of those countries forcefully left their citizens defenseless by banning guns.
None of them had a Second Amendment, but we know that’s what Weingarten was implying. The leader of a teachers union wants to dictate what rights Americans should and shouldn’t have. Although, to be fair, they already try and dictate what public schools indoctrinate your children with, so there’s that.
There are a lot of people within government, and within proxy governmental bodies like unions, that we should NOT listen to, and apparently Weingarten is simply another to add to that list.
Just ignore people like Weingarten and the ridiculous things they say, because they don’t serve people, only themselves.
