Just when you thought we’d run out of made-up holidays, the woke left is back with a new one: “The People’s Sick Day.”

It’s being pitched as a three-day national sick-out — an attempt to “shut down” the U.S. economy by convincing people to not work and not spend for 72 hours straight.

Here are just a few of their demands:

  1. Calling for the impeachment, removal, & arrest of Donald Trump and the Republican administration.
  2. Demanding an end to corporate greed and economic injustice.
  3. Demanding an increase in the federal minimum wage to $20 an hour.

So let me get this straight: use your paid sick days to protest the labor system that gave you…paid sick days? And don’t show up to work but still demand a raise?

To organize this economic revolution, the organizers have created a “super secret” website and an even more top-secret Discord server that they're posting all over social media.

It’s a “sneak attack,” according to them. They're just keeping the exact date a secret until 48 hours before the strike starts to really catch corporate America off-guard.

Can’t call in sick? No problem. Just keep your money in your wallet, and don’t use Uber Eats for three days. Groundbreaking

Wait — does that mean I have to cancel my Netflix subscription?

Let’s be honest, these demands sound like they were written by someone who’s never worked a 9-to-5 in their life. And if they think the U.S. economy will collapse because a few hundred keyboard warriors skip Chipotle for a few days, we’ve got way bigger issues.

So to recap: the woke left wants Americans to stay home, not work, not spend, and not tell anyone — all in the name of “justice.”

Sounds less like activism, and more like a three-day staycation to me.
