Picture this: in an alternate reality, Trump-Vance are Democrats—and so are the First and Second ladies.
In that world, the mainstream media would be obsessed. A First Lady who’s an immigrant? A Second Lady with South Asian heritage? They’d be hailed as embodiments of progress.
But in our current reality? Crickets. Why? Because they’re conservative.
Here’s what the First and Second ladies have been up to this summer—stories the mainstream media won’t bother to cover.
Just this week, Mrs.Trump visited the Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., spending time with sick young patients:

Meanwhile, Mrs. Vance launched the White House Summer Reading Challenge for students in grades K-8. In her first in-depth on-camera interview, she addressed the nation’s literacy crisis last week.
These are two accomplished, intelligent women. Mrs. Trump is a multilingual philanthropist, businesswoman, and former model. Mrs. Vance is a summa cum laude Yale grad and former Supreme Court clerk.
So why is the media mostly silent?
Because the left doesn’t like who they’re married to.
