Actor Alec Baldwin says he can beat Donald Trump for president in 2020.
“If I ran, I would win,” Baldwin said on Howard Stern’s satellite radio program on Monday.
“I would absolutely win. By one-thousand percent I would win,” the liberal actor who often portrays Trump on Saturday Night Live boasted.
Stern pressed him on why he wouldn’t run for the office “if you are the hope of the Democratic party.”
“I’m not,” Baldwin replied.
“I’m only saying that because people don’t have a sense of who is going to come up. Somebody great is going to come up I hope. But the only reason I say this is because I’d love to run for that kind of position."
