The New Orleans Saints' Benjamin Watson recently weighed into the Ferguson controversy with a Facebook post that went mega-viral almost overnight.

His post addressed the range of emotions many Americans, of all skins colors, were feeling in the wake of the Ferguson controversy.

It also addressed what Watson saw as the solution to the Ferguson controversy, and others just like it.

Excerpt from his post

ENCOURAGED because God has provided a solution for sin through the his son Jesus and with it, a transformed heart and mind. One that's capable of looking past the outward and seeing what's truly important in every human being. The cure for the Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Eric Garner tragedies is not education or exposure. It's the Gospel. So, finally, I'M

ENCOURAGED because the Gospel gives mankind hope.

But Benjamin Watson didn't stop there, he recently went on CNN to discuss his post on Facebook, and talk about Jesus.
