The Hollywood cult just can’t grasp the practical uses of firearms, such as protection or hunting. But, what they do understand is how to use guns to train for a film, use guns in the film and then sell the movie based on the intense action using guns.

Academy Award winning actress — as if that really means anything anymore — Charlize Theron decided to lecture people on the use of guns at the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai.

No word on what she thinks of the illegality of being a homosexual in Dubai.

Anyway, in the wake of President Trump saying that schools should employ the tactic of arming “well-trained, gun-adept teachers and coaches” in order to better protect students and schools at CPAC this year, Theron believes quite the opposite because of the loss of her father to “gun violence.”

While losing a parent who was shot is horrible, the term “gun violence” is stupid. A gun cannot be violent. Only the person using the gun can use it to carry out violent acts themselves.

“I just don’t understand when people try to make the conversation the argument that the fix is more guns,” Theron continued. “It is so outrageous to me.”

Well, the U.S. has tried using less guns in the form of gun-free zones, and we’ve all seen how that situation works out.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Theron also said that the solution to the problem is to “listen to our kids.”

Look, I can appreciate and even admire those kids who take an interest in politics and policy reform. But, could we just let kids be kids? Why do they have to have the adult-in-the-room’s ideology uploaded to them from the minute they come out of the womb?

Maybe we should allow kids to stop holding up protest signs that they have very little information on and begin giving them books again. Just saying.
