Jamie Foxx, star of Oscar-winning film “Ray,” heard an accident outside of his Los Angeles home around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. When a driver presumably lost control of his car on the wet roads, the car hit a ditch and then flipped over.
Thinking quickly, Foxx called 911 and then raced out to the flaming wreckage to find the driver still buckled in his seat. Fearing the vehicle would explode, Foxx unbuckled the driver and pulled him to safety before officials arrived.
An ambulance transported the victim to a hospital where he is being treated for major burns.
Despite Foxx’s deep ties to liberal causes, you have to give a man credit when he does something incredibly selfless and brave.
