Actor James Woods is issuing a pretty dire warning on Twitter.
Woods, a conservative and defender of President Trump, often tweets political observations from the Right. He has tweeted against illegal immigration, gun control and Hillary Clinton, and celebrated what he calls President Trump’s recent “rock-star welcome” in West Virginia.
Woods has expressed disappointment in the establishment Republican party, recently tweeting that “there are few if any #Republicans who are any better than the #Democrats in accepting the results of OUR constitutional process and laws.”
In just the past two weeks, Woods has sent out these tweets:
I've never witnessed such hatred for a man who is willing to work for free to make his beloved country a better place. It is pathological.— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) August 4, 2017
When I was in college, everybody was rebelling against the "Establishment," as if it were some tangible thing. I see today that it is.— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) August 4, 2017
The way I gauge the certainty of my opinion in discussions with #liberals is the degree to which they revert to physical and verbal violence— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) August 3, 2017
While Woods' prediction of a Civil War may seem hyperbolized to many, one thing's for certain -- the tension amid America's political factions is growing rapidly, and a boiling point seems inevitable.
