Marijuana activists will be giving out thousands of free joints in preparation for President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

WUSA reports the DC Cannabis Coalition will be handing out 4,200 free marijuana cigarettes on inauguration day. The group plans to light up at four minutes and 20 seconds into Trump’s speech.

As of 2015, marijuana possession has been legal in Washington D.C. for adults over 21. Marijuana can legally be freely exchanged as a gift, but cannot be sold.

Adam Eidinger, the founder of DCMJ, told WUSA, “The main message is it’s time to legalize cannabis at the federal level.”

The event is open to everyone and is not an anti-Trump protest.

“If there are people from Texas, some Cowboys fan, who is walking down the street in a cowboy hat and a big fur coat and he walks up to our demonstration, I want him to feel welcome coming to D.C.” Eidinger explained.

Eidinger, however, says he is worried about Trump’s pick of Jeff Sessions for attorney general.

“We are looking at a guy who as recently as April said that they are going to enforce federal law on marijuana all over the country. He said marijuana is dangerous,” Eidinger explained.

WUSA notes Eidenger said his organization is “hopeful the new administration will not be a problem, but they are preparing for the worst.”

“Cannabis thought leaders” have recently said they are optimistic about Trump.
