It’s an unfortunate reality, but one thing you can count on like clockwork every single week and weekend are dozens of victims of shootings in the city of Chicago. And while cities across the country burn because of elitist media-driven false narratives, not one of those outlets or “peaceful protesters” seem to care about any of those shooting victims.

At least five people were murdered and another 22 were wounded in shootings across the Chicagoland area over the weekend. This continues the remarkably consistent numbers from the previous two weekends. The previous weekend saw at least four people killed with another 24 wounded, and the weekend before that saw at least seven people killed and another 27 wounded around the city.

If all that isn’t enough, a 7-year-old little girl was shot and killed in what Chicago police believe was a “gang-related” shooting in which her 28-year-old father allegedly could’ve been the target. The father was wounded as well, but is alive and in “serious condition,” according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Here are the names and ages of those who were shot and killed over this past weekend:

Jaslyn Adams, 7

Paul Williams, 43

Devon Jackson, 33

Verico Veal, 25

Jawon L. Ward, 18

As for the year-to-date totals for Chicago weekend shootings, 73 people have been murdered and another 353 have been wounded in Chicago in 2021. The Chicago Tribune, which keeps a tracker of all shooting victims in Chicago, is reporting that — as of March 31 — 864 people have been shot this year. That number is 218 more than at the same point in 2020, which saw the second most shooting victims in the last 10 years of tracking data.

With all of the identity-based divisions politicians and the media are causing, it doesn’t look like the “remarkably consistent numbers” will be going down any time soon. Sadly, it looks like it will possibly only get worse as the summer months pass.
