I guess there’s no male privilege when it comes to Father’s Day — at least, not in Chicago.

During the 24-hour period — also known in this case as Sunday or Father’s Day — 18 people were shot in Chicago, with two people dying as a result of their wound(s).

The two men who were shot and killed were just standing on a sidewalk. There’s no word on the motive for either of those shootings, but one of them men was a 26-year-old, and the other man was only 19 years of age.

Here’s an example of the violence, according to Fox 32 - Chicago:

The second homicide claimed the life of 19-year-old Kenneth L. Hill.  He was shot to death Sunday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood. Hill was standing on the sidewalk about 6:15 a.m. when someone shot him in the head in the 5800 block of South Peoria Street in Englewood, according to authorities. Hill was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died. He lived on the same block as the shooting.

The Father's Day shootings were merely a portion of the total shootings that happened in the Windy City over the weekend. A total of 54 people were shot, with nine people dying as a result.

Where is Black Lives Matter? Where are the supposedly educated on the plight of black people, like Georgetown University indoctrinator Michael Eric Dyson? When it comes to the slow, but steady genocide of black people of the South and West Sides of Chicago — as well as other areas around the country with similar shooting problems — why do we never hear from the Left?

It’s a problem that someone needs to address. The Left — the supposed arbiters of race relations in this country — are mysteriously mum every time someone points out the atrocities happening within black communities.

Do they even care? Judging by their repeated silence on the issue, one has to ask the question.
