The 5 Dumbest Tweets of the Week

danjoseph | April 24, 2015

Earth Day was this week.

It's really a terrible holiday.

Instead of presents and celebrations with family members, we get lectures from politicians and celebrities about how we're killing the planet.  Additionally, we're barraged with the overused slogan "Every Day is Earth Day." Given how frequently environmentalists berate us for supposedly causing extreme weather and killing off polar bears, sometimes it feels like every day is, in fact Earth Day.  Why can't every day be Veteran's Day?  I doubt the left would like that very much.

Okay, sorry for the rant.

Here are some dumb Tweets.

1.

Given the Obama Administration's desire to increase regulations on energy companies, the costs of which will obviously be passed on to American consumers, here is the place that I'm most concerned about protecting:

2.

If the engineers the Clinton campaign decides to hire are anything like the people Hillary paid to make her logo, then her effort to revolutionize digital campaigning should be equally hilarious.  But, are engineers really necessary? How hard is it for someone to sit at a computer and delete emails all day?

Or, maybe, she's looking for someone who knows how to create a server that runs on Uranium.

3.

You know what I find helps immensely when you're chilly?  WEARING CLOTHES!!!

But, I suppose when you're famous primarily for being in a perpetual state of undress like Courtney Stodden, that's really not an option.

Click onto the next page.  More brilliance from Cher is coming up.

4.

Wait.

We can't drink oil?

I'm not sure about that Cher.

Prove it.

5.

Short Arms?  Oh! I get it.

Jackson thinks that the president needs to have long arms so that she can reach into our pockets and take our money without noticing.

Barack Obama had very long arms.  That's why his presidency has been so successful.

DISHONORABLE MENTION 1

I don't even feel like I need to comment on this.  It speaks for itself.

DISHONORABLE MENTION 2

Earlier this week, MRC's own Katie Yoder wrote an article about an interview that Roseanne Barr did in which she referred to the efforts of the pro-life movement as a "Bullshit War."

Well, Barr actually read the article and responded to Yoder in an equally classy and eloquent fashion.

I know Katie Yoder very well.  She is quite possibly the sweetest person I have ever met.  I think it's safe to say that Roseanne Barr is the total opposite of Katie Yoder in just about every way and this exchange exposes that fact perfectly.

Follow Katie on Twitter for more evidence of this.
