An illegal alien living in Louisiana who’s skipped out on multiple immigration hearings after coming to the U.S. illegally last year as part of a family unit has now been arrested for allegedly beating a pregnant teenage girl unconscious.
Antonio Ical-Quip, 36, was charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and domestic abuse battery after police say he impregnated a 16-year-old girl and kicked her unconscious during an argument. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were notified after the young woman was admitted to the hospital with “abuse-related injuries.”
“The teen advised deputies that she was pregnant. She shared that she was abused - pushed and kicked. She told deputies she lost consciousness. She was treated for her injuries. She was able to lead us to a potential suspect,” said Sheriff Jason Ard, according to FOX8.
“ICAL-Quip told detectives there was an argument between himself and the teen on September 19, 2019. He admitted to a romantic relationship,” Ard added.
According to WBRZ, “The sheriff’s office said it also learned Ical-Quip entered the United States with a juvenile child in April 2018 as a family unit but has failed to appear for immigration-related matters.”
“This arrest is a great example of the working relationship between the outstanding Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and the New Orleans Border Patrol Sector, to arrest and remove dangerous criminals from our community,” said U.S. Border Patrol New Orleans Sector Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Michael Harrison.
Ical-Quip has been booked in the local jail and placed under an ICE detainer.
