There still are some courageous dissenters on major news media - folks who, when they speak in favor of the constitutional provisions that are supposed to insulate individual rights from federal and state attack, and who slam the poisonous double-standards of politicians at every level, could be served well by having epic soundtracks behind them.  Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro just emerged as…

CBS Boston recently reported on a “charming” holiday story erupting in Durham, NH, the town that hosts the leviathan of tax-subsidization called the University of New Hampshire. As the Boston TV station notes, because of “complaints” lodged last year, the Durham Town Council decided to remove the colored lights from their living fir tree that has, for years, been the host of said already watered-…

Pathological politicians just used you as hostages in their ploy to further expand government and insult the Founders. Last night, the U.S. Senate passed its combined “COVID19 Relief” ($900 billion) and omnibus “stop-gap” budget/spending bill (nearly $1.4 trillion) to fund the federal gub'ment through September of next year. It’s a monstrosity totaling 5,593 pages that was so large, it had…

In a perfect example of how private property and voluntary association work to show people’s morals and preferences, a large group of New York City restaurant owners are joining forces to permanently ban Governor Andrew Cuomo from ever dining in their establishments. The Washington Examiner’s Michael Lee writes: “A group of New York City restaurants has joined together to ban Gov. Andrew…

In the downward race to see which tarnished Ivory Tower institution can achieve ripe, rotting, postmodernist perfection, the University of Michigan might have taken the lead. Charles Hilu reports for The CollegeFix that the University of Michigan Information and Technology Services has established a (and this is not a joke) “Words Matter Task Force” -- because how else could people decide if…

In what might be the insult to beat all insults, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the political physician, the parasitic paramour of pharmaceutical companies, the suckling of the state whose inconsistent public prescriptions are matched in number only by his personal failures to follow his own scientifically dubious recommendations, just rendered into a few sentences the entire wasteful, unconstitutional,…

That old expression, “Ya can’t make this stuff up,” comes to mind. Under the command of transgender Health Secretary Rachel Levine (aka Richard Levine), The Pennsylvania Department of Health just burned tax cash issuing new COVID19 guidelines forrrr… ...People attending orgies. Thanks to talk radio host and writer Rose Unplugged Tweeting the pertinent section, we who, like her, still cling to…

One of the truest adages in human history is that “in government, people fail UPWARD,” and it’s being proven valid once more, thanks to our pal, Joe Biden. Of course, it took two stellar reporters at CNN to mention the breaking news while, at the same time, overlooking the deeper story, but, according to Dan Merica and Kate Sullivan, Biden has opted to drape the Holy Vestment of “Climate Czar”…

Around New England, folks concerned about the growth of government and the double-standards of politicians often turn to two news sources to get prime information. One is legendary reporter/columnist and talk radio host Howie Carr, and the other is a frequent go-to for Mr. Carr, the fired-up phenom known as Turtleboy.  On Monday, December 14, Howie mentioned a recent, and continuing, post by…

Freedom is simple. You have a right to be left alone by me, and I have a right to be left alone by you. Neither of us has a right to force others to initiate action or expend energy on our behalf. You own yourself. I own myself. Period. That includes our peaceful activity, and our decisions about how to spend the time God gives us to live. As a result, we acknowledge the truth of free association…
