Late last week the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, covering most of Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, took up “Michael Cargill v. Garland, et al,” a case challenging the 2017 Trump-issued Executive Order prompting the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATF, ATF) to list so-called “bump stocks” as “machine guns” and have them banned according to already-extant…

With all the wonderful things the Canadian government is doing to uphold the rights of conscience, free association, private property, worship, and travel, some observers might not have seen the additional blessing that a British Columbian judicial tribunal just conferred on the principle of free speech. Well, on September 29, BC Human Rights Tribunal Judge Devyn Cousineau ruled that…

In gripping video that is picking up viral steam, a seasoned anesthesiologist working for UCLA Health in California can be seen being forcibly “escorted” out of his workplace after he refused to comply with the state and federal mandates that he accept an mRNA jab, making the alliterative phrase, “no jab, no job” take on very sinister significance. As Laura Anaya-Morga reports for the LA Times…

Remember last week when I got to report on how both the National School Boards Association’s tax-funded members, and tax-funded Biden Administration apparatchiks twisted reality on its head by depicting concerned parents at school board meetings as potential “terror threats”, when, in fact, it is government that operates via threats to make people cough up tax cash? Well, the story has taken a…

There’s something frustrating about a political body that can’t distinguish between “inclusiveness” and force, between voluntary preference and aggressive hatred, between well-intended sympathy and the child-damaging attempt to warp reality. And it appears that the government of California is one of those bodies. In 2017, it became the first state in the US to issue “gender-neutral” birth…

In a move that might help parents break the stranglehold of leftist teacher’s unions on the minds of kids, numerous Republican members of the Ohio legislature have introduced HB 290, a “Backpack” program of school vouchers, to, like a backpack, “follow” a child to any private school of his or her choice. Anna Staver writes for the Columbus Dispatch: It's called the backpack scholarship program…

At the NH Statehouse in Concord, Saturday, October 2, I had the opportunity to mingle with more than 1,500 New Hampshire residents rallying against the state government accepting $27 million from the feds to promote mRNA injections and the finalization of a state “vaccine registry.” Curiously, although the lone major network affiliate, WMUR-TV for over a year has offered alarmist, inflated CDC…

In a ruling that has gone virtually unacknowledged by the pop media, the Supreme Court of the United States majority offered a minor victory to public school students who might want to criticize the propaganda system in which they are trapped and for which taxpayers are forced to pay. Sophia Cope and Naomi Gilens note for The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) via ActivistPost that the case…

In what might be one of the most bleakly ironic appeals of the year, Viola Garcia and Chip Slaven, the President and Interim Executive Director, respectively, of the government-parasite-filled National School Boards Association (NSBA) on September 29 sent an open letter to Joe Biden calling on him to deploy a wide array of federal forces against parents and other taxpayers who speak out…

Get this… Self-styled “radical” Cornell Law professor Saule Omarova, Joe Biden’s pick to become “Comptroller of the Currency,” recently Tweeted reckless and ignorant praise of the Soviet Marxist system that trained her throughout the 1980s: Until I came to the US, I couldn’t imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today’s world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was…
