It seems the Department of Interior's plan for issuing gas and oil leases might not actually include any issuance of leases. In a display of both hubris and confusion reminding viewers that it’s unwise to “let slip the dogs of war” without first training the dogs or seeing if the beasts even are appropriate for the task, the woke-celebrated “Interior Secretary” Thursday seemed ill-prepared…

If you, like many, put stock in the observation that politicians and bureaucrats rarely eliminate their new agencies… If you suspected that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) accepting the resignation of Nina Jankowicz from her post as head of the anti-constitutional Disinformation Governance Board was not the end of the "board," and that DHS Director Alejandro Mayokras planned to keep the…

Those who have been frustrated by the seemingly endless leftward, anti-Christian, anti-Biblical tilt of the Catholic Church since the 1960s – and, in particular, since the start of Francis’ Papacy, may find a glimmer of hope in knowing that the Archbishop of San Francisco is challenging Nancy Pelosi’s fraudulent claim to be a staunch Catholic. As Adam Shaw reports for Fox News, Roman Catholic …

It’s always fun to see language-manipulators tip their proverbial hands at the outset. And such is the case with a recent release from the gaggle of tax-connected “educators” comprising the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). It’s a new “Framework” or “Guide” called, “Gender-Inclusive Biology: A framework in action” – which, by its title, openly admits that the NSTA is turning…

Acting as both scavenger and bird of prey, New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) just announced more potential gun grabs and invasion of privacy/demonization – all based on her “executive” say-so. As Arjun Singh reports for the National Review, Hochul is using a two-pronged pitchfork in her attack – going after both gun ownership and freedom of thought/expression. Speaking at a press conference…

A Wisconsin city that bills itself as “the little city that does BIG things” just made a BIG splash for a BIG stroke of “woke” genius. As Monique Lopez reports for Green Bay’s WLUK TV, the city of 3,500 is Kiel, and: An investigation into three Kiel Middle School students has been launched. The school district has filed a Title IX complaint against the students, accusing them of sexual…

Perhaps due to the leak of a draft Supreme Court decision that could overturn the 50-plus-year-old “Roe v. Wade” ruling, a 2020 Guardian interview with singer-songwriter and Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks made the rounds on Twitter over the weekend, with the expected left-wing focus on, and support for, her admission that she obtained an abortion in 1979 while she was dating Eagles…

It’s safe to say that, throughout history, most “political dockyards” have been filled with empty vessels. But one contemporary U.S. legislator recently showed himself to be particularly hollow. He is Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD), who, on Friday, May 13, decided to double the rhetoric, and not double the fun, by adding clear falsehoods to a week that already saw him vote to send $40 BILLION in…

No one is exactly sure how long the expression, “elephant in the room” has been in usage. Some believe it to be a uniquely American phrase that came to the fore in an ironic 1952 piece published by the Charleston Gazette. Whatever the origin, the expression is widely understood to mean that people are experiencing vexation, but avoiding the obvious source: akin to folks in a room smelling…

As if the shocking news of the DHS “Disinformation Governance Board” – the most recent anti-constitutional, U.S. speech-policing agency to follow the foul FCC -- weren’t enough to put Americans on their proverbial heels in the ceaseless boxing match for freedom, new details about the Ministry of Truth “co-chair” might help. She’s Principal Deputy General Counsel Jennifer Daskal, and, as…
