The shocking reports increase each day. The longer the United States engages in the political and social activity of trying to fight the Wuhan coronavirus COVID-19, the more alarming the accounts people in society share about the manner in which the political world is behaving. From possibly the most innocuous example of why people might be troubled by the actions of local, state, or federal…

During a time when Americans are worried about the supply chain and the food supply, it’s nice to see another positive story about how individualists are freeing the market in Wyoming! As Baylen Linnekin reports for Reason, the five-year-old Farm Freedom Act – a statute that lifted many government regulations against peaceful private food transactions – has been so beneficial to consumers,…

Is it possible that some Americans have become disenchanted with that lovable charmer, New York’s Best Governor™, Andrew Cuomo? Like David Lee Roth singing “Where Have All The Good Times Gone?”, are people looking back on the old days of their Cuomo affair and scratching their heads, because now he’s showing signs of gruffness, disingenuousness, and outright ugliness of character? And, if so,…

If you don’t subscribe to the sleep-inducing United Nations YouTube channel, you might have missed this plan released by UN Chief António Guterres on March 31. It’s about the UN “saving the world economy” by directly and indirectly seizing more cash from the taxpayers who already pay for it via the 193 countries – mostly via the US – that rule over them. In a fifteen-minute long video on the “…

Amazing. The leftist pop media darlings seem never to tire of dishonorably and childishly blaming conservatives and liberty-lovers not only for naturally occurring crises, but for crises that government bureaucracy is making worse. From people like Bette Midler to Rachel Maddow, the motto that silence is golden seems to go way over their heads, and now, Axios founder Jim VandeHei is reminding…

On Monday, March 30, Florida police arrested a Tampa-based pastor for violating Republican Governor Ron De Santis’s COVID-19 “Safer-At-Home” order, casting into view one of the most important and profound questions of our – or any – time: To whom does one ultimately answer? God, or the state?     According to Tamara Lush and Chris O’Meara, of AP, police placed under arrest Pastor Rodney…

One of the strange blessings to come from our current struggles against the Wuhan Coronavirus is the revelation that many so-called “regulations” imposed on businesses are completely unnecessary and wholly harmful to our living standards. You might have heard about one or two “restrictions” being “lightened” in your area, and Charles Blain, writing for the Foundation for Economic Education,…

As many of us work to manage our frustration over politicians imposing “mandatory” closures and attacks on the right to purchase firearms, as we scratch our heads over slow, counterproductive actions by the constitutionally-questionable Food and Drug Administration, or we see politicians like Justin Trudeau commandeering sixteen tons of medical supplies, sending them to China, and leaving…

Here’s a frightening sign. The government of Chula Vista, California, just announced that it will be using DRONES to help enforce Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s “stay at home” commands. What’s scary about that is twofold. First, and, perhaps, most bizarre, is that some critics of this move are focusing on the source of manufacture of the drones. See, the drones are made in China. As Zachary…

Some light is seeping through the bureaucratic clouds during these dark COVID-19 times. According to a March 22 press release, the US Food and Drug Administration are lightening their “restrictions” on who can, and how they can, manufacture and sell respirator-ventilators. Of this “granting permission” to modify designs a bit, and for manufacturers of other products to shift production into…
