It really takes a certain kind of person to use a tragedy to do to something of this magnitude. Liberal blogger and founder of the Daily Kos, Markos Moulitsas, tweeted "Mission Accomplished, Sarah Palin" after the horrific shooting at a grocery in Tuscon, Arizona that left Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in critical condition, took the lives of 6 people, and injured many others. Moulitsas, who goes by the twitter handle @markos, politicized the situation placing the blame on Sarah Palin, the lowest level one could possibly hit. The following is a screen shot of his "Mission Accomplished, Sarah Palin" tweet. Click the image to enlarge.

This tweet linked back to a story titled "Sarah Palins Hit List" , which states:

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and six others died after a gunman opened fire at a public event on Saturday, the Pima County, Ariz., sheriff’s office confirms. The 40-year-old Democrat, who was re-elected to her third term in November, was hosting a “Congress on Your Corner” event at a Safeway in northwest Tucson when a gunman ran up and started shooting, according to Peter Michaels, news director of Arizona Public Media. At least nine other people, including members of her staff, were hurt. Giffords was transported to University Medical Center in Tucson. Her condition was not immediately known. Fuck it. I’m going there… Back in September: Twenty House Dems from districts that McCain carried in 2008 voted for the health care bill, and Sarah Palin has a target on every single one. The targets were released on the six month anniversary of Obamacare, and include a lot of familiar names such as John Boccieri (OH), Chris Carney (P N) Gabrielle Giffords (AZ) and Ann Kirpatrick (AZ). The site invites donations, social networking, and the unbeatable Sarah love that has led to a 26:11 win/loss record of candidates in GOP primaries. Granted, some of those were in safe districts, but she’s also pulled off massive upsets that probably outshadow her less successful picks. Regardless, this site should go a long way towards knocking off the politicians who put their party affiliation ahead of their constituent’s demands. It was announced via a tweet from SarahPalinUSA: “Lies, Damned Lies – Obamacare 6 Months Later; It’s Time to Take Back the 20!”

On January 6, the Daily Kos, his website, published a post from 'BoyBlue' titled "My CongressWOMAN voted against Nancy Pelosi! And now is DEAD to me! Ironically, this post was geared towards Congresswoman Giffords and states:

I am from the Tucson area and live in Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords' district. I worked like a dog for her elections when she was in the Arizona House, surrounded by rightwing nutcases. When Arizona re-districted in 2002, a seat opened up and she was right smack in the middle of it. So was I because I live in Oro Valley, Arizona, which is at the heart of that - then - new CD. I was one of several people to talk her into running and pledging complete loyalty and pledging to raise as much money as possible for her.
She ended up running for the first time against a fellow AZ House member, Randy Graf who was a rightwing whacko who advocated guns in bars and was the "Russell Pearce before Russell Pearce" vis-a-vis border issues. With a LOT of hard work and plenty of money, Gabby won. Easier than thought, too. I never like to throw money in people's faces, but i have given Gabrielle Giffords THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars in both good times and bad times for me financially.

What Markos has done is simply on a level scum can't even hit. This is exactly what you will see and hear in the coming days. People will use this tragedy and place the blame solely on Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and Republicans for political purposes. As will the mainstream media. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this tragedy as well as their friends and family. UPDATE: Jane Fonda blames Palin, Beck, Tea party.
