On Sunday night, after hearing a woman's cry for help, a passerby came rushing over and found a man raping a woman in the bushes near Edmond's grocery store in Seattle, WA. “I could only hear her crying, but I could see the back of his head and I could see his pants were down and she was crying really loudly,” Klein said according to local KIRO TV. The man, Jose Madrigal, was arrested immediately and taken into custody. Background checks showed Madrigal has been deported at least 4 times in the past 15 years. The man allegedly offered the woman $35 for sex. When she refused, he pushed her into the bushes and sexually assaulted her. "Sometimes we have control in our brains, but we make mistakes", Madrigal said according to police documents. Madrigal has been charged by county prosecutors in district court for second degree rape. Currently, U.S officials won't confirm his legal status, but say he is being held by the Immigration and Customs enforcement agency. This signifies they want him when the case is resolved, clearly indicating that he is an illegal immigrant. One question that was left lingering and not once noted in the few sparse news articles on the incident was where Madrigal was deported back to in the past. Hmmmm....
