Former Oklahoma Congressman and potential candidate for RNC Chairman J.C. Watts told MSNBC Live that a pastor, coach, or CEO who turned in the same results as the RNC would be fired. He stated that the current leadership of the RNC “can’t run,” and the popular support for Priebus’ re-election showed that the RNC wasn’t willing to make the changes it needed. Watts declined to say whether or not he would run for chairman, but said that his prospective candidacy had taken on a life of its own.
