Yesterday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared in his speech to the UN that Israel would be “Eliminated” and had “No roots” in the Middle East. This prompted a walkout of the Israeli delegation, but for some reason the US delegation and stayed put. I guess anti-Semitic ranting and threatening the destruction of a sovereign nation doesn’t qualify as the “Noise” the Obama Administration is trying to cut through.
In other shocking news, Ahmadinejad attacked Israel in his speech despite warnings by the UN against “Incendiary rhetoric” in his speech. Marking what I’m sure is the first time a dictator ignored a warning by the UN.
