Univision: SF Bill to Hand Fentanyl Traffickers to ICE 'Causes Controversy'

CAROLINA SARASSA: A proposed law by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is causing controversy because if passed, it would make it easier to deport immigrants guilty of selling fentanyl. That would be an exception to sanctuary laws, and they would become collaborators of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE. Some 1,400 people have reportedly died from fentanyl use since 2020.
