BLANCA ROSA VILCHES: It's been a decade since Stephanie Estrella ended up becoming pregnant in her native Colombia.

STEPHANIE ESTRELLA: It wasn't the time for me to have a child. I knew I wasn't prepared to give it the life it deserves.

VILCHES: She was 19 years old at the time and was a nursing student in the United States.

ESTRELLA: I was afraid to talk to my family, to my mom. It was difficult because I knew the stigma, the shame, that came with my decision.

VILCHES: She waited to return to the United States to have an abortion.

Stephanie says the thought of abolishing Roe vs. Wade fills her with rage and sadness.

ESTRELLA: Abortion is going to happen, legal or not, and it's our lives that are at risk, and I think they should give it more importance. Women like me, can die.
