Chuck Todd, on Friday and Sunday, signed off for the final time from his two Meet the Press shows which will be taken over this week by Kristen Welker while he moves into a political analyst role for the network.
Citing how viewers want to be educated by watching a Sunday show, he promised on Friday that “it’s that education piece I’m hanging my hat on for the rest of my professional life because one thing we all lament lately is the lack of knowledge and nuance in our politics. That’s a vacuum I hope to continue to fill.”
