The same Navy Seal unit that took out bin Ladin pulled off another mission, this time freeing an American and Dane from hostage takers in Somalia. All 9 captors were shot dead. The hostages were then pulled to safety.
The hostages were held captive since October 25, 2011, and the mission was said to be carried out because of the deteriorating health of the American being held.
