[See NewsBusters for more.] Rosie O'Donnell may have worried about the threat of "radical Christianity," but Ben Affleck's defense of Islam thrilled the View host on Monday, prompting her to tout the actor as a presidential candidate. O'Donnell and her co-hosts were discussing the verbal battle from Friday's Real Time. Atheist Maher called out his fellow liberals for not standing up to militant Islam.  O'Donnell praised, "I was listening to Ben Affleck and every single thing he said, I agreed with...I wrote on my Twitter 'Ben Affleck for president.'" The comedienne then explained what the actor's words meant to her: "Fundamentalists on the whole all believe in some common things: that women are second class citizens. That gays are evil, that violence is okay if my side does it since I speak for God."
