Pro affirmative action protesters took to the steps of the Supreme Court yesterday, the same day the nation’s highest court heard arguments in Fisher v. University of Texas, a case that could end affirmative action in college admissions.

The protest, organized by Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, was attended by members of many liberal groups, including the National Urban League, the National Association of Women, People for the American Way, the Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights, and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary, and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

In addition to the demonstrators, MRCTV captured footage of speeches given by Reverend Sharpton and AFSCME President Lee Saunders.
