After actor Robert DeNiro joked at an Obama fundraiser that after seeing the wives of the Republican candidates America wouldn't be ready for a "white" First Lady, Newt Gingrich denounced the comment.
CNN's Piers Morgan then lit into Gingrich on Thursday night and told him to lighten up. Morgan quoted liberal Bill Maher's "brilliant" column telling the public to take a joke.
