During the MRC’s 25th anniversary gala on September 27, 2012, the MRC honors the late Andrew Breitbart with the sixth annual “William F. Buckley Award for Media Excellence.” Cal Thomas, who earned the honor in 2011, presents the award which is accepted by Breitbart’s father-in-law, Orson Bean.
