At the University of Denver's "Voice of Experience" speaker series on October 17th, 2011 Sally Jewell, who President Obama recently nominated for interior secretary, said that "none of us are paying for the consequences of our carbon use."
She advocated for a mechanism to make us "recognize the consequences of that."
