ObamaCare Ruling: The Semantics of Lib Spin

7.5k views

<p>While running for President, Barack Obama promised that he would never raise taxes on the middle class.</p><div>&nbsp;</div><div>When
he was selling his health care plan he said that the penalty for an
individual not purchasing health insurance, wasn't a "tax."</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div><div>But in Upholding the mandate, the Supreme Court said it was a "tax."<br /><br />A tax that will hit nearly 3 MIllion middle class Americans.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><p>So
now it would appear that according to the high court Obama has raised
taxes, but that the president&nbsp;sneakily tried to frame his tax increase
as&nbsp;something else so he wouldn't look like he had broken his promise. <br />
<br />At the Supreme Court, after the ruling had been handed down, MRCTV
asked jubilant Obamacare supporters if they thought if Obama had broken
his promise to the middle class.</p>
