Obama, in 2012, Called Preventing Mass Atrocities and Genocide ‘a Core National Security Interest’

In 2012, President Obama in a speech at the Holocaust Memorial Museum announced the establishment of an Atrocities Prevention Board and said “preventing mass atrocities and genocide is a core national security interest and a core moral responsibility of the United States of America.”
