TERRY O'NEILL, PRESIDENT, NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR WOMEN (04 Jan 2013): Eric Cantor led the House in stopping provisions that would have allowed, for example, tribal authorities to have jurisdiction over non-tribal members that commit rape on the reservation. Most of those perpetrators are white men and Eric Cantor, basically what he said and what his office said was, we just can't trust those Indians to have jurisdiction over white rapists. That was his attitude. Unbelievable!
