In a special press conference call on July 9th, plans were unveiled about the mission, structure, and operation of a new Boy Scouts group being engineered by former Scout leaders who left due to the decision to allow openly gay members.

John Stemberger, founder of the coalition group OnMyHonor.net, introduced the new interim director of the yet unnamed organiation, Rob Green, who then proceeded to talk about how the program would work. According to Green, it's going to be "distinctly different from the Boy Scouts, but with some similarities."  Also, a big focus of the program will be to emphasize "sexual purity instead of sexual orientation."

Both Green and Stemberger made it clear that while the organization will be strongly based on the Christian faith and Christian principles, no young man will be refused admittance, even if he is gay, provided that he does not openly flaunt it.

The 1st National Convention of the group will take place in Nashville, TN on September 6-7, where the new name, logo, and other details will be announced.
