Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy bashed the Fox News Channel Tuesday in an interview with Leicester Square TV, in response to  accusations of 'brainwashing kids with an anti-corporate message” in their latest movie.

On Fox’s “Follow the Money,” Bolling claims the new Disney installment of the “The Muppets” franchise movie is an  attack on the oil industry, capitalism and is  evidence of a liberal Hollywood conspiracy to brainwash children.

The film features an evil oil baron named Tex Richman who wants to raze the Muppets’ old theater to drill for the black gold. The gang reunites to host a major fundraiser to win their theater back.

Bolling invited Dan Gainor of Bolling invited Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center to weigh in.  Gainor claimed that the Muppets’ efforts to save their theater was a puppet version of the Occupy movement.

"All it needs is a pepper-spraying cop," said Gainor.

Hollywood attacks the oil industry instead of reminding them what oil means for most people, Gainor continued, "which is fuel to light  a hospital or heat your home, or maybe fuel an ambulance to go to the hospital if you need that, and they don’t want to tell that story."

Kermit sarcastically disputed the allegations saying, “If we had a problem with oil companies, why would we have spent the entire film driving around in a gas-guzzling Rolls-Royce?”

“It’s almost as laughable as accusing Fox News as, you know, being news,” said Miss Piggy  as the audience laughed and applauded.

“Boy, that’s going to be all over the Internet, yup!” replied Kermit.
