MRC in the News: TV Pick-Ups for Study Showing Midterm Campaign Bias

The Media Research Center received considerable news coverage with an October 22 study and October 28 follow-up documenting how the Big Three broadcast evening newscasts were virtually ignoring this year's midterm elections, even as they aggressively covered the midterms in 2006, when Democrats were predicted to make major gains. Over the next two weeks, Fox News Channel, the Fox Business Network, CNBC and CNN all found the MRC's study noteworthy, as did publications such as the Washington Examiner, the Drudge Report, the Washington Times, Politico, Hot Air, Mediaite, Newsmax, the Weekly Standard, Investor's Business Daily and National Review.
